Killing gorillas is now against the law. Conservation groups such as the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) are working to stop poaching and save the gorilla.
Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda have places where the gorillas are protected by guards. Sadly, the poachers still kill many gorillas.
