Hi, Mimi. Do not rinse your mouth for 24 hours. If you rinse or drink thru a straw or smoke, etc., you could end up with a dry socket. This will hurt worse than any toothache you could ever have. You want the blood to clot good in those sockets. If it doesn’t, it leaves the nerve exposed and the pain is unbearable. After 24 hours rinse with warm salt water and eat soft foods for a day or two. I work in a dental office. Be careful.
