Raccoons are mammals found in North America and Central America.

Most raccoons weigh between 4.5 and 9 kilograms (10 and 20 pounds). Raccoons have long fingers. They use their fingers to find and grab food from streams. Raccoons like to eat crabs, frogs, and fish. They also eat nuts, mice, and grasshoppers.
